Question: There are many compelling written books and many good picture books but what do you mull over is the best combination of both?


Answer: Dr.Suess. Now this guy might not have a whole lot of existent words but it will teach the child to sound out words and they will vocation with small words too. Plus the pictures are brain exciting and entertaining.

Black Canadian children's literature ~ the stats « Fledgling

.  Here are the trends I’m conclusion so far:

There are lots of image books about African or Caribbean folktales. There are lots of depiction books about African safari animals. There are many more non-fiction books than fiction at the MG/YA height.

Since I’m interested in stories by and about resentful people, I’m not including the subhuman/near extinction species books. Some non-fiction titles are for adults, but might still be in a penetrating followers library.  At this applicability, I’m including chalk-white authors who create about felonious children—like Deborah Ellis and Allan Stratton .  I’ll conserve my division of this directory for another publish….take a look and blab me what YOU see.
