Question: Hello, I am an instructor for the 6th grade reading and literature. I have many worksheets as I give my students over the ordinary. But it seems to be very easy for each of them. Thus, the children asked me to give them packets more difficult to read or spreadsheets. I regularly just give them a short story (fiction or documentary) of any subject.

I just found out days ago that I'm about to have my own classroom starting Jan. 2. I have the bracket stop of our holiday break to get ready, which is little more than a week.

As of now, I have essential unit plans for a fiction (short story or drama) element, a nonfiction unit, poetry, vocabulary

To be uninhibited, 8th grade was still my toughest year of teaching yet. 8th graders act unheated and grown up, but they really want to have fun, so try to make all lessons
