Anybody remember a kids book about Dragons?

Question: When I was at school level as a decade ago, there was this book about a boy who somehow ends with a baby dragon, or a dragon egg that hatches and begins to lift. I remember that jacket was a photograph of a child s hand holding a small dragon, but for the lifestyle of me, I do not remember the name.
