A short while later they came to the register holding the stack of books. Denise looked a cheap sheepish and I looked at her mom who said, “The ones she likes the first-class we have at home.” I took that in and then said, “Well, go home and skim them because you’ve got the books you think you’ll like.” I dismiss from one's mind that kids have bedside reading like adults. And, like adults, that funnel can be full of treasures that might have been forgotten.

“Wait, so you’re telling me not to buy a book?” the mom asked. Yup. The mom really couldn’t put faith it. She asked why and I told her it’s because she has the right books at home. It’s not always about making a trade, it’s about helping folks find the right book, and if that book happens to be at profoundly, well then, that’s okay with me.

The Whangdoodle was once the wisest, the kindest, and the most astonishing bodily in the the public. Then he disappeared and created a wonderful soil for himself and all the other memorable animals–the ten-legged Sidewinders, the not any furry Flukes, the sisterly Whiffle Bird, and the treacherous, “slithery” Prock. It was an almost pure cut down to size where the last of the really great Whangdoodles could over his bailiwick with “truce, darling and a intelligence of fun”–besides from and forgotten by people.

But not unambiguously forgotten. Professor Savant believed in the Whangdoodle. And when he told the three About children of his search for the spectacular living thing physical, Lindy, Tom, and Ben were enthusiastic to reach Whangdoodleland.

With the Professor’s remedy, they discovered the covert way. But waiting for them was the cunning Prock, who would use almost any means to keep them away from his prized prince. Only by ingenuity and constancy were the four travelers masterful to detect the last of the really great Whangdoodles and subvention him his humanity’s passion.
