I am looking for an interesting non-fiction book?

Question: I am looking for a non-fiction book enchanting a social problem that happens in our world (racism, anorexia, the media effect on children, etc.) I find it hard to read and have the difficult to find a book that I have an interest in.

non-fiction books for kids/?

Question: i'd like to put some books about king tut/ egyptology, and/or archaeology, to my nephews. they are in first elementary school but are really advanced readers. any suggestions?

by James Irascible Giblin, Bagram Ibatoulline (Illustrator) (This one is one of my favorites).

Pyramid by David Macaulay is a well-founded book for looking and studying at pictures, but the text is a little thick.
