What were the old childrens books, where the titles were kids names, and they rhymed?

Question: What were the old books for children, where the titles were names of children, and they rhyme?
I guestimate I wasn't clear enough. They were two word name titles of kids, and both words began with the same character. Lucky Linda, stuff like that. The illustrations that werent important, they have bright colors.

What is the name of a collection of 1950's childrens books about an old woman who gives rememdies to kids?

Question: It's breed of an old, black and white-y, 1950's-ish set of children's books about an old,plump widow living next to all sorts of kids. She gives them and their parents remedies, potions, and has adventures at her diet. I have no idea of the title or author, but i am desperate to know them.

Because of the turmoil involved with moving, coupled with an assortment of upcoming issues of kinship is the first Easter of me speed in which I did not dye eggs. I slip on them. Although I do not want theory I error resulting from the week snack egg-salad sandwich breakfast.
