Spot (the dog) and creator Eric Hill

This is the writer and illustrator of those pulchritudinous 'Spot' books, who explains in this 90-next audio commentary from The Keeper how he created the screwball more or less by mistake. I've never known a foolish youngster who didn't like Spot, and we still have well-familiar and battered copies, because I never desire to forth out things that have been distinctive when the children were skimpy.

It's illustrious that with his kindly visage and Santa Claus tresses and beard, Eric Hill looks perfectly like anyone would presume him.
