How long does one live if diagnosed to have acute leukemia?

Question: My bedfellow was diagnosed to have acute leukemia. He was advised to undergo chemotherapy. I wonder, what is the survival scolding for this kind of disease? Please advise.

Answer: Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL): 64.6 percent survival class
Acute myeloid leukemia (AML): 19.

Question: a few days ago we found out my gramps who is age 83 has acute leukemia , unerringly now hes staying overnight at the hospital getting treatment and chemo....the first twilight (sept. 10)the docters said he might not make it...but my grampa is glaring and he proved them wrong because today is thursay sept. 13 and hes teeming...and it looks like hes getting

Answer: Anything's conceivable. Just pray that he's a fighter! If he wants to live longer, he will. Godlike luck to you and him.

Confirmed leukemia:
