OK, so it for ever got really cold this weekend.  We officially kicked off the fair season with a quick visit to the Bronxville Chamber’s annual dinner party over at People’s United Bank, where local business folk noshed on surprising hors d’oeuvres prepared by John Byrne’s Scarborough Light catering. 

Among those enjoying the festivities were realtor Lydia Maria Petrosino , cover guru Paul Ranieri , Silk Road owner Susan Piper , Richard Restiano of Arista Camera, and of seminar, Chamber Director Peggy Conway .  Mayor Marvin made a swift appearance before heading off to the Village’s official celebration. 

We spoke a while with Adrian East of Fierson’s about how the boutique is doing after relocating to Kraft from Pondfield.  She said for the most part, customers literally prefer the new, smaller location, because it feels cozier and more intimate – more like a Madison Avenue boutique.  Although the intermission is technically smaller, some creative double-and-triple tiered hanging units have allowed Adrien to finance the same amount of stunning children’s clothing as she had previously.  During December, she’ll be staying frank late on Thursdays, so swing by and check it out – parking is easier on Kraft, anyway.
